Buses from and to Venice (every 15 minutes), to the airport (every 15 minutes) and to the train station (every 30 minutes) stop right in front of the hotel. The interchange between the Mestre ring road and the principal tollways is just 2 km from the Hotel Lucy.

 

Venice

To reach Venice take the convenient bus 5 or 5D, both stopping in front of Hotel Lucy (you can leave your car in the hotel free car park), which will get you to Piazzale Roma (Venice’s car terminal) in just 10 / 15 minutes. From here, vaporetto 82, along the Grand Canal takes you to the most beautiful and famous places, like the Rialto Bridge, the center of the city's shopping district, filled with small shops and the Gallerie dell’Accademia, the most important art gallery in Venice, which contains the masterpieces of Venetian painting, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the famous collection of American contemporary art, the Chiesa della Salute, a splendid example of Baroque architecture and, finally, Piazza San Marco, with its splendid Palazzo Ducale and Saint Mark's Basilica. Or, you can leave Piazzale Roma on foot, losing yourself in the maze of smalls lanes and piazzas, for a delightful stroll through one of the most enchanting and picturesque places in the world.

 

Treviso

In a few minutes on the highway (about 10) or taking the Napoleonic Viale Terraglio (about 40 minutes), you will reach Treviso, a delightful city on the water, surrounded by ancient walls that are practically intact. A stroll on the ramparts and through the medieval lanes of the city center that open onto the lovely Piazza dei Signori with the Palazzo dei Trecento, with a pause at the Casa dei Carraresi, the site of important exhibitions and the delightful Pescheria and a visit the medieval churches of San Niccolò and San Francesco and the museum complex of Santa Caterina, to see the frescoes of Tomaso da Modena, are absolutely not to be missed.
